I learned this song a few years back and still never get tired of playing it.  It’s one of those songs that make me feel really good to play.  Whatever I’m feeling that day, I can let it out with this song.

Also…we got to go see Coldplay live last week!  It was an AMAZING concert! Our friends have heard this story and are probably sick of it by now, but we were so thrilled when attendants at the Hollywood Bowl spotted us in our Coldplay T-shirts and moved our seats to practically the front row!  We were actually 3 rows from the very last row up in the nose bleeds, making it hard to see any of the action down on the stage.  But with our new spot in the front pool we got a pretty good view of the band, even seeing the sweat drip from Chris Martin’s face.  We even had better seats than Robert Downy Jr., who we spotted in the section behind us.  So, feeling in a Coldplay kind of a mood lately, here is my version of another one of their hit songs, and one of my favorites-”Fix You”

When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you’re too in love to let it go
But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I

Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
